GUS GUS - 'Polyester Day'

Following hot on the heels of the recent promo only 12" by Gus Gus, the group are ti release their debut single on Monday October 7th 1996. The single, entitled 'Polyesterday' will be released on 12" and CDS single, with different tracks on the two formats.

Gus Gus are a nine-piece Icelandic collective encompassing musicians, vocalists, filmmakers, actors, photographers and DJs. A short film to accompany 'Polyesterday' was shot in Iceland by the group over a period of 8 days in July.

All tracks were written and produced by Gus Gus.'Polydistortion' and 'Polyesterday (Late)' are Remixes of 'Polyesterday' by the group themselves, while 'Cold Breath '79 (Crystallised)' and 'Gun (Husmix)' are remixes of tracks traken from the band's eponymous debut album wchich was released in Iceland earlier this year, again remixed by the group.
